Our Executive Director, Lamin Dibba, also serves as a panelist in one of the three panel discussions, focused on accountability, anti-corruption, and the rule of law (December 10, 2025).

CBMT Gambia Engages in Training & Dialogue on The Gambia’s Public Financial Management and Budget Cycle

On May 3rd and 4th, 2025, CBMT Gambia organized a two-day Training and Dialogue on The Gambia’s Public Financial Management (PFM) or National Budget Cycle. The event brought together over 25 engaged participants, including youth leaders and civic actors, to deepen their understanding of the country’s budgetary processes and strengthen their capacity to contribute meaningfully to financial governance. Through interactive sessions and expert-led discussions, the training provided a platform for knowledge exchange and civic empowerment in the realm of public finance.

CBMT Gambia Participates in National Youth Parliament Capacity Building on Government Budgeting

On October 26, 2024, CBMT Gambia proudly participated in a capacity-building session organized by the National Youth Parliament – The Gambia, focused on enhancing youth understanding of the National Budget. Held ahead of the upcoming parliamentary sittings, the event aimed to equip young leaders with the knowledge and skills necessary to engage effectively in national budget discussions and policy advocacy. CBMT Gambia’s involvement reflects its ongoing commitment to youth empowerment and fostering informed civic participation in governance.
